Frequently Asked Questions About Our Boudoir Photo Shoot!
Is the session private?
Yes the session will be private. The focus of your shoot is entirely on you. Most of the time, it will be just you and me in my studio. Occasionally a female assistant may join us but that’s it.
Do you share my images?
The decision to share images is entirely up to you. Nothing is shared without your permission. You can decide if you want your images shared and approve which ones I can use. I give you options to decide.
There is absolutely no obligation to give permission to share images in order to book a session.
I don’t have any modelling experience. Can I get help with posing?
Your shoot is a fully guided shoot, which means I will be there to demonstrate all poses beforehand and when it's your turn I will help you pose everything from your body, hands, feet and even coach you through those facial expressions to get those sensual, sexy expressions.
Is makeup and hair included?
Airbrush makeup is included as part of your boudoir experience. Hair can be added at an additional cost.
Do you retouch images?
Standard retouching including skin smoothing, removal of under eye bags and bulges produced by twisting into poses will be done before you see the images at your reveal / ordering appointment.
Do I bring my own clothing for the shoot?
We shoot 3 outfits per session and that can be any combination of stuff you bring and pieces we have in the boudoir client wardrobe. We have a range of sizes, styles and colours and as part of this luxury experience, I am here for wardrobe consultation and advice. We always discuss your wardrobe choices and pick the looks that are just right for you.
Where is the studio located?
The cozy studio is located in St.Joseph, nestled betweeen the hills of the northern range, just about 3-4 minutes away from Medical Associates Hospital.
Must I wear lingerie?
Wearing lingerie is not a must for your boudoir shoot. We often suggest wardrobe pieces that suit your personality and style.
How long does a shoot take?
Shoots including makeup and hair are 3-4 hours long. We begin shoots at 8:30am sharp.
How long in advance should I book my shoot?
As soon as you've made the decision to do a shoot you should reach out to me so as to give yourself enough time to prepare and to be able to take advantage of the pre-payment plan options.
Are weekend shoots available?
Shoots take place on weekdays only.
Are payment plans available?
Yes, PRE- payment plans are available that take place before the session. A bi-weekly or monthly payment schedule is implemented leading up to your shoot based on the collection you choose. This option is great because you can take your time paying it off and then on the day of your shoot, you don’t have to worry about such a large expense all at once! You can enjoy the experience and you can always upgrade if you end up loving more images!
